POSITION: Service Technician/Custodian

EFF. DATE: Immediately
SALARY: $30.37 - $33.53 per hour
SCHEDULE: 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
260 day – work year
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Minimum of 2 years in audio visual and custodian equipment troubleshooting and repair
*Valid Washington State driver’s license
*Ability to work safely as a district-wide team
* Demonstrated exemplary customer service and responsiveness
*Ability to work unsupervised
*Ability to organize and rate priorities and effectively schedule work time
*Ability to maintain tactful, cooperative and effective working relationships
*Willingness to accept and carry out directions as required
*Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 60 pounds unassisted
*Physical ability to do required work, which could include squatting, bending, stooping, carrying, lifting, climbing of ladders and other repetitive, demanding functions
*Demonstrated exceptional service to students and staff
*Demonstrated punctuality and a good work attendance record
*Must maintain and respect confidentiality of district records and matters
*Knowledge of safe work practices and procedures
*Experience in care of custodial equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
DESIRED: (Qualifications that are not required but would be useful to the position)
*Experience with care and maintenance of intercom systems
General Responsibilities:
Under the direction of Supervisor of Maintenance and Custodial performs troubleshooting and general repair of audio visual equipment and custodial equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance, (i.e. cleaning, parts replacement) on a regular basis. Determines and orders required parts inventory within budgetary framework. Other related duties as assigned.
