POSITION:                  NUTRITION SERVICE SUBSTITUTES

                                    Various Buildings

EFFECTIVE DATE:       2024 - 2025 School Year

 

SALARY:                   $19.18-19.57 per hour

                                 AA Degree - $.50 per hour extra/

                                 BA Degree $.75 per hour extra

 

SCHEDULE:                 On call, as needed, approximately 2-4 hours per day

                                               

                                               

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)

*High School Diploma or equivalent

*Ability to proficiently read and speak English

*Valid State of Washington Department of Health Food Worker’s Card

*Ability to move 40 pounds

*Must get along well with staff and students

*Demonstrated exemplary customer service and responsiveness

*Demonstrated aptitude and manual dexterity for successful performance of tasks listed

*Demonstrated punctuality and an excellent work attendance record

 

TYPICAL DUTIES:

*Assist in preparation and serving of food; clean up dining and kitchen areas

*Serve food in cafeteria line

*May relieve or assist other employees in higher-level food preparation tasks to meet emergency or on-the-job situations

*Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans; operate dishwasher

*Practice all sanitation and health regulations

*Perform other related duties as assigned
