JOB ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

POSITION:              SCHOOL NURSE - 1.0 FTE 24-25 SY 

                                   Mark Twain Elementary

SCHEDULE:            2024 - 2025 School Year

SALARY:                 Based on the 2024 - 2025 Teacher Salary Schedule with ESA Certification

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)

*Must be a registered nurse currently licensed with the State of Washington

*Demonstrated punctuality and an excellent work attendance record

*Must work within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality

*Willing to work collaboratively with building and district staff

*Ability to develop a rapport and communicate well with students, parents, and staff

*Able to work independently and on own intitiatives with interruptions

*Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures

*E.S.A. required or ability to obtain

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:  (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)

*BSN from an accredited nursing program

*E.S.A. certificate

*Bilingual/Biliterate in English/Spanish

*Two years of experience in public health nursing, preferably in a school district
