EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately
SALARY: $21.85- $22.87 per hour
AA Degree - $.50 per hour extra/
BA Degree $.75 per hour extra

SCHEDULE: 8 hours per day
Monday through Friday
200 day - work year
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Grade ‘C’ or better on district administered Thurstone Employment Test
*Keyboarding accuracy at 45 wpm on district administered test
*Excellent oral skills, writing, spelling, punctuation and grammar, language and communication skills
*Demonstrated punctuality and a good work attendance record
*Ability to work within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality
*Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and tactfully with the public, fellow employees and other district staff
*Must have previous school experience using PowerSchool in the areas of attendance, attendance reporting, student registration, creating reports, and student scheduling
*Must be able to operate student ID cameras and make student IDs, or willingness to learn
*Ability to work with a variety of district staff and impart knowledge as required
*Ability to learn new software programs quickly
QUALIFICATIONS:
DESIRED: (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)
*Experience creating PowerSchool reports
*Ability to read, speak and write both Spanish and English
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the PowerSchool database administrator to implement new technology to import data into PowerSchool program.
- Work with the PowerSchool Administrator to correct and add data for state reporting.
- Work with school registration clerks to ensure consistency of PowerSchool data.
- Oversee and accept scanned demographic data from forms that are submitted from each campus. Check for consistency of data and correct errors.
- Create data and object reports from PowerSchool as needed.
- Assist with management of returned PowerSchool automatic e-mail.
- Work with school clerks and administrators to prepare the Weapons and Attendance report.
- Help problem solve, answer phone calls and assist with PowerSchool.
- Assist and train staff on the various aspects of PowerSchool and how it integrates with other software.
- Assist with archiving data.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
